BLESSED. That’s all I can say about my trip to the Philippines. It was my first time backpacking, but it was a nice experience. I learned a lot of things like riding a scooter, budgeting my money, and other things like how to wash my underwear (just jump into the ocean, just kidding). Coming into the trip I didn’t know what to expect but my travel partner, Danny, told me that I’ll be conquering a ton of my fears. Even after weeks of traveling, I still didn’t conquer my fear of him.
It was awesome being able to travel and see a ton of the country that I’ve never seen before on my previous visits. Places like Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Dumaguete, Banaue, and many more. Unfortunately, I was lazy and missed out on footage from a ton of other places. Lesson learned for next time. The main reason why I went to the Philippines was for a family reunion and that was awesome because I saw family that I haven’t seen in so long. It was cool because we were able to do a few activities together and just hang out with each other. I’m happy that I got to see so much of the country and visit a ton of family members from both sides of my family tree.
